Henry turned 3 months about a week and a half ago. Why did I wait until now to post? Well a fussy baby, a terrible kidney stone attack (thanks Buddy!) and a fabulous Labor Day weekend at the beach keep you kinda busy. Besides, I don't know what I would have written while I was on the pain meds.
Henry is still growing like a weed. We now Big Hank is well over 14 pounds. We've had some feeding issues, but things have really improved since we've started him on soy formula. Yes, he is still sleeping in his swing, but we'll change that soon. At least this is what we're telling ourselves now that we are back from vacation and that I'm feeling back to normal.
Here are some of the changes we have noticed during this third month:
Henry LOVES his hands - they are constantly in his mouth. This is great because I get tired of popping that pacifier back in his mouth all the time!
Henry loves to blow bubbles. He gurgles and coos, thus the drooling is starting to crank up a bit. But I now this is nothing compared to what we'll experience during the teething stages.
Henry is sharing his smiles with anyone and everything. I love this because now everyone can see his ridiculously cute grin.
Henry is giving us longer stretches during the night. We can go about 6 to 8 hours between feedings at night. Now once we get the crib down, then we will really be in business!
Henry has great control over his head. He holds it up high during tummy time and does a great job sitting in his bumbo seat. I'm looking forward to when he is able to sit in his jumparoo because I think he'll have a blast playing in it.
so good to spend time with you and Ryan and Henry and Molly and Matthew and Cooper and Graham and Caroline. Next year, the beach all the way!
