We've notice that Henry seems very uncomfortable when sleeping in his crib, bassinet or anywhere flat. He kicks those little legs in the air and gets fussy. He would tense up and squeal in pain during some of his feedings. Poor little man. I thought it was gas (and as he does NOT burp), I've tried gas drops, tummy massages and tucking his legs into his chest. Nothing seemed to help him. So I took him to the pediatrician's office today in order to solve this mystery.
Our doctor's suggestion is that Henry has some reflux issues. She suggested that we raise his mattress at an angle, and she also wrote him a prescription for baby Zantac. We're trying both tonight, so keep your fingers crossed that these are the solutions to his problem. I hate seeing my little guy in so much pain!
p.s. - Big Hank weighed in at 10 pounds, 5 ounces. Pretty soon he will catch up to his cousins!
